Biological Activity:

Potent, competitive dihydrofolate reductase inhibitor (IC₅₀ = 2.6 nM). Induces late S/G₂ cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. Antitumor, anti-inflammatory and antirheumatic agent. Active in vitro and in vivo.
