Biological Activity:

TNF-alpha Inhibitor; Lenalidomide (CC-5013, Revlimid), analogue of thalidomide, a new drug in a group known as ImiDs, with broad cytokine modulatory activity.
Lenalidomide is less toxic than thalidomide without teratogenicity, sedation, or neurotoxicity, and is 50,000-fold more potent in inhibiting, tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α,
that is involved in the pathophysiology of myelofibrosis (MF).
