Biological Activity:
PD184352 is a MEK inhibitor (IC50 = 10-100 nM), a kinase upstream in the mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway (MAPK). Inhibition of MEK leads to a reduction of MAPK activation, suppressing colon tumor proliferation in mice with limited organism toxicity.
